How to Delete Your Account

Follow these simple steps to permanently delete your Chattea account and all associated data.

Sign in to your account

Access account settings

Click on your profile avatar in the top right corner to open the user menu.

Select 'Delete Account'

Click on the 'Delete Account' option in the dropdown menu.

Confirm deletion

Enter your password to confirm the deletion. This action cannot be undone.

Data We Delete

When you delete your account, the following data is permanently removed from our systems:

Account Information

Username, email address, password, and profile information

WhatsApp Instances

All connected WhatsApp instances and their session data

Messages & Conversations

Message history, conversation data, and contact lists

Uploaded Files

All uploaded files and media attachments stored in our system

Subscription Data

Current subscription status and plan information

Data Retention Policy

Some data may be retained for legal and regulatory compliance purposes.

Financial Records

Payment transaction records are anonymized and retained for regulatory compliance.

Retention period: 10 years (Indonesian financial regulations)

All other personal data is immediately and permanently deleted when you delete your account. We do not retain copies of your personal information beyond the legally required financial records.
